Wingfoil / high-performance watersports equipment

Carbon wingfoil foil — functional prototype

Wingfoil foil produced through several process steps: CAD design, CNC machining of the master or mold, surface preparation, carbon fiber layup, vacuum bagging and epoxy resin curing. This process creates a lightweight, rigid part designed to withstand the high mechanical loads involved in wingfoiling.

FPV drone / custom carbon parts

CNC-machined carbon FPV drone frame

FPV drone frame CNC-machined from a carbon fiber plate. The part was produced from a CAD file, with precise arm cutting, mounting holes and contour finishing to obtain a lightweight, rigid chassis ready for assembly.

Custom carbon fins

Carbon fins manufactured by Wado for spearfishing and freediving. Each pair is produced using a carbon/epoxy composite vacuum process / infu to achieve lightweight, responsive and durable fins. In-house manufacturing allows the stiffness, finish and behaviour of the fins to be adapted to the intended use.

Monolithic foil mast

Design and CNC machining of a one-piece foil mast, produced from a finalized 3D model. The goal was to manufacture a precise final part, with clean mechanical interfaces and a high-quality surface finish. This project highlights Wado’s ability to develop complete technical parts in-house, from design to final manufacturing, for demanding watersports applications.

Technical part / prototyping

Reverse engineering and validation of a technical part

Starting from a broken original part, a new version was rebuilt in CAD through a reverse engineering process in order to reproduce the main geometry and functional areas. A 3D printed prototype was then produced to validate the dimensions, holes and overall fit before manufacturing a stronger final version, produced in small series.
